HORIZONTAL & VERTICAL SEED/FERTILISER SEPARATION

Titan Opener System Benefits:

• 1/2” wide fertiliser knife for lower disturbance and more precise fertiliser placement.

• Adjustable seed boot provides flexibility to set the depth of the fertiliser from 3/4” to 1-1/2”.

• Three strategic carbide locations for additional wear life and hard facing on key wear points that don’t have carbide.

• Modular design allows for replacement of worn parts instead of the entire opener.

• Adjustable depth based on seed and fertiliser placement needs.

*Drawings for illustration purposes only. All measurements shown are approximate. Results may vary with multiple factors including soil conditions, ground speed, application rates, fan speeds and more. In less than ideal conditions, mixing between seed and fertiliser may occur. For more information please refer to our precautions and risk factors.

STEP 3: CHOOSE YOUR TIP

620-TIP-0510

Standard tip for 620 & 688 holders. Carbide inserts are placed on the nose. Hard facing is placed on critical wear points for extended life of the tip. Use bolt and nut combo 620-BNC-3100 (5/16″ x 1-1/2″) to install shoe to holder.

620-TIP-0517

This tip is the same as 620-TIP-0510 but is 3/4″ longer giving you more vertical separation.

620-TIP-4060

TRIPLE SHOOT UNIBODY TIP + SEED SHOE

Extra-long carbide inserts placed on the nose of the tip. The nose carbides have a continuous roofed profile, producing exceptional soil flow with minimal disturbance. The seed is placed in a distinct 4” paired row (2-3/4” center to center). The seed is deposited prior to the Aqua NH3 + Liquid Phos being placed 3/4” deeper, between the seed rows. The tip helps prevent skewing on hill sides. The shoe portion is 4” wide, with carbide fully covering the leading edges. NOTES: This tip replaces the standard tip, seed shoe, fertiliser tube combinations, and is to be used with 688 holders.
